Consultation on UK ETS free allocation rules for hydrogen production

The UK Government is asking for views on changes to the rules for free carbon allowances for hydrogen production. The changes would make sure the rules are applied fairly when hydrogen is supplied to other sites. They would also make it easier to separate hydrogen used for different products. The aim is to support the move to lower-carbon industry while keeping the system clear and consistent.
