Consultation on Fisheries, Aquaculture and Water Environment Bill
The AERA Committee is asking for people's views on a new law that would:

update Northern Ireland's fishing rules,

make it easier to manage fishing and fish farming,

improve enforcement of regulations,
-
and better protect rivers, lakes, and the sea.
This consultation closes on 11 September 2026.
