EASR waste authorisations in Scotland

You may need an EASR authorisation (registration or permit) if you carry out any of the following waste activities:

  • Soil improvement using waste
  • Anaerobic digestion and composting
  • Construction, restoration, reclamation or land improvement
  • Incineration
  • Landfill
  • Storage and treatment of waste
  • Transporting, brokering and dealing waste
  • Other waste activities covered by EASR

You may need an EASR registration or permit if you carry out these activities.
