Groundwater in Northern Ireland
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) through the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA), have produced a leaflet publication to raise awareness about this untapped resource. This aims to provide an overview to help readers understand the role groundwater plays in Northern Ireland, why it’s important to protect it and advice on how to find out more.
