Environmental guidance for your business in Northern Ireland & Scotland
NetRegs at Scotland Works and the ENDS Awards
This week (12-13 September 2017) we were at Scotland Works at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow. Scotland Works is an exhibition dedicated to industrial, commercial and public sector professionals and is a fantastic opportunity to see the latest technical and services available on the market…all for free! Over the course of the two days, we spoke to visitors and other exhibitors, promoting NetRegs and handing our new NetRegs merchandise. We were also lucky enough to be joined by Karen-Anne and Drew from SEPA’s contact centre who helped us out on day two of the event, so a huge thanks to them both for volunteering!
You may remember from a while ago, both NetRegs and VIBES we were nominated for the ENDS Environmental Impact Awards. We are very excited to announce that we took home the award for ‘Knowledge Development of the Year’ as well as being commended for ‘Team of the Year’. VIBES were also commended in both the ‘Partnership of the Year’ and ‘Product of the Year’ categories! We’re very happy with these accreditations and want to say huge congratulations everyone who was nominated for an ENDS Awards!
The Northern Ireland Environment Agency has published a short guide to the duty of care responsibilities including advice and information for waste producers, carriers and those accepting, storing and treating waste.
